What is  robot

The branch of technology that deals with the concept, design, manufacturing process, function and application of robots is called robotics. A robot is a type of electro-mechanical system that can operate interactively or under the command of a human. It is built on the principles of artificial intelligence.

Most of today's robots are inspired by the field of bio-inspired robotics. Simply put, the general subjects of robotics are artificial intelligence, engineering and psychology. The technology creates computer-intelligent and computer-controlled robotic machines that are more human-like in appearance and have more human-like physical capabilities. In this case the characteristics that are tried to be given to the robot are:-

1) Sight or visual perception

  2) Sense of touch or touch

3) Skill or mastery in control and manipulation.

4) Ability to physically move anywhere or locomotion.

5) Intelligence or navigation to accurately find one's rubber path to a destination.

History of Robots:-

The word robotic comes from the word robot, which was introduced in a play by the Czech writer and playwright Karel Kepec, published in 1920. Robotics is all about robots. A robot is a computer controlled machine or machine that can do many difficult human tasks automatically.

The way it works looks like it has artificial intelligence. The word Robota is originally a Slavic word meaning worker. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the first use of the word robot is in Isaac Asimov's short science fiction story The Shire, published in 1941. Interestingly, Isaac Asimov in his story set three laws or rules for the fictional robot that the robot will never harm humans. The robot will obey all human commands without breaking the first rule and the robot will protect itself without breaking the rules 1 and 2. These three formulas are used for modern robots.

American inventor George Charles Deville created the first real robot out of the pages of science fiction. His first industrial robot in 1950 was named Unimed. Another American, Joseph Friedrich Engelbaugh, was the initiator of this robot project. Although he did not contribute to the technical aspects of the robot, and even though Charles Devel's name is on the industrial robot patent, Engelbaug is recognized as the father of robotics by being honored as an entrepreneur.

Robots don't have to be human-like machines. A robot is not a machine that will ever be fully human. Sometimes through appearance and sometimes through actions, sometimes both ways. Of course, the program is tied in such a way that it can be retied as needed. In general, a machine cannot be called a robot if it can work automatically.

It can be termed as a massive intelligence system. A mechanical system becomes a robot only when it combines mobility, motion, sensing and intelligence. Robotics is a rapidly growing field these days. With the advancement in technology, research designs and development of new robots can be used for various practical purposes be it domestic, commercial, civil work. Some robots are programmed, while others can be remotely controlled by laser beams or radio signals.

(Structure of robot) Structure of robot:-

A robot is made up of various components. This is explained in detail be

1) Movable body

A root is equipped with wheeled mechanical legs or some other type of moving apparatus for locomotion.

2) Actuator

An actuator is a type of motor that can rotate automatically or be mechanically controlled. A robot can operate in different directions due to the presence of actuators. It is powered by electricity, hydraulic power. Multiple electric motors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems are known as special systems designed to move different parts of the robot body. Meanwhile, human-like robots can be called.

3) Power system

The robot needs an electrical connection to operate the actuator and for this electronic home robots use lead acid battery extension cords.

4) Electronic circuit

5) Program keto brain or computer

The programmed brain or computer installed inside the robot controls everything. If for some reason the behavior of the robot needs to be changed, the computer inside it is reprogrammed.

6) Feelings

7) Change

Manipulation is the process of changing the position of objects around it with the help of robot arms and legs.

Uses of Robots:-

I use it in daily life

We use robots. It is discussed below:-

Computer aided manufacturing is widely used. Robots are especially used in vehicle and car factories.

Robots are used in hazardous work and heavy industries. Jobs that are very dangerous and harmful to humans and difficult for humans to do these jobs are done with the help of robots. such as welding and working inside mines.

Robots are also used for thorough inspection, mail delivery, hazardous work and security.

Ekages are used as police auxiliaries, in the military for various domestic and medical purposes

Robots are currently being widely used in space exploration. Robots are sent to places where it is impossible for humans to go to collect various data. Recently, a robot called Curiosity has been sent to Mars by NASA.

Disadvantages of robots;-

Robots help us in many tasks but they have some bad qualities which are discussed below:-

1) Recognize that bots cannot adapt to a sudden change in environmental conditions unless their program is changed.

2) People are gradually becoming unemployed due to the use of robots. It is increasing unemployment, people are gradually losing their efficiency.

3) The use of robots is now very expensive and its management is not yet easy.
