(HIV/AIDS) Brief Introduction:-
Today's world AIDS is known as a serious killer disease. The disease was first discovered in 1981. Acquired immune deficiency syndrome is named after these words (AIDS). According to UNAIDS statistics, more than 2.3 million people worldwide are currently infected with the virus.
About 40 percent of them are women. According to the World Health Organization, about 164 have seen the spread of the disease. AIDS is caused by the attack of the human immune deficiency virus (HIV) virus in short. The virus damages white blood cells and interferes with the immune function of these cells, including the production of antibodies.

How long does AIDS stay dormant:-
As a result, the number of white blood cells, especially white blood cells like CD4 and the amount of antibodies gradually decreases. This virus can remain dormant in the human body for many days, so the patient's immune system is destroyed by the attack of the virus and the death of the patient is inevitable. Because no medicine has been discovered yet to restore the immune system of this disease. Symptoms of this disease may appear 6 months after the virus enters the body.
Causes of AIDS:-
A healthy person can get this deadly disease for the following reasons such as:
1) This disease is caused by having unprotected sex with a man or woman suffering from AIDS
2) Blood transfusion is required in cases of accidental haemorrhage, obstetric haemorrhage, major surgery, anemia, thalassemia, cancer etc. In this situation, if the blood of an AIDS patient is transferred to the body of a healthy person, the disease of AIDS occurs.
3) The disease is not directly transmitted from father to child with AIDS. The mother can get it through sexual intercourse with the father and the child in the womb of an infected mother can then get the disease. If a mother with this disease drinks milk, the child can be infected.
4) A healthy person can also be infected with HIV through the use of syringes, needles, dental equipment and surgical instruments containing HIV germs. Even sharing a blade from the same salon can spread the disease through multiple people.
5) Transplantation of an organ of an infected person into another person's body causes this disease.

Cure for AIDS;-
To be honest, no treatment for AIDS has been discovered to date that will completely cure the disease or make the virus in the body lose its ability to function. There are some treatments available that keep the body somewhat healthy. These AIDS patients can live like other normal people. If regular treatment is taken then this disease can be affected and lead a normal life
Ways to prevent AIDS:-
We came to know about this disease from the above text, let us know now how to survive this disease.
1) Establish safe physical relations.
2) Refraining from receiving blood or other organs from AIDS patients.
3) Do not reuse the same syringe or needle or other medical equipment.
4) To make others aware of the causes and symptoms of disease spread.
Some superstitions of our society about this disease;-
Many people think that they can get HIV by eating on the same plate, kissing, or shaking hands or mixing with someone who has HIV. But these ideas are not correct. If you hold hands with an HIV-infected person, hug, eat on the same plate, live in the same house, another person does not get infected with HIV.
